I congradulate Space-X for succeeding in launching, delivering and retrieving their first of many flights into space. What I find interesting is the negative reaction from several of the "Old" astronauts (IMO, a case of arrogance). America is a free enterprise system and maybe, just maybe, getting the government out of the space business will prove cheaper, better and more competitive. Government inherantly hates compitition once it has a minopoly on something i.e. Health-care NASA. I think NASA will come around to working with the private sector once government recognizes that we are now dependent on other countries (Russia) to launch into space.

Yeah, I was really glad the whole thing worked, especially after that 1 second abort the day? before. Didn't read about the "old" astronauts. Thought I read about NASA using only private shuttles in the future. Hopefully it will be cheaper. cheers
