Ice Road Truckers
I like this show. It's so hokey and scripted. I'm waiting for the day one of them drops a truck into the water. Just goes to prove that some people will watch anything of TV.

I googled it and watched a few minutes of it. Kind of scarey. One of my favorite movies was Convoy. I just watched it again on Utube. Welcome back.

Well, it looks like ol Pork-Chop ain't gonna make it on the Ice Road. Just too much Red-neck in him I guess.

I'll mention Pork Chop to mrd and see what he says. One time (that I know of and still call him stupid for doing it) mrd drove his truck out on a frozen lake to ice fish. Guess that's why he likes the show.

Re: Ice Road Truckers
When I was little, we would drive out onto the lake to fish too (Minnisota). I never thought of it as dangerous. The fishing wasn't very good though. All I ever caught was cocktail. Never did get any of the big blocks. Grandpa even had a shack he put up so we were out of the wind. I remember that there was even an old kerosen heater inside to keep us warm. The ice would be about 2 ft thick. Fishing season was over when the first truck fell through the ice in spring. It happened every year. Some dumb city-slicker would always be the one, as grandpa would say.

Yeah, mrd had a tent and heater, but sitting on a giant ice cube staring at a hole just doesn't seem like fun to me.

Well, it looks like "Pork-chop" was sent out to deliver dog-food. The saga continues. Tonight is American Pickers and Pawn Stars. My wife and i went to the Gold & Silver Pawn shop in Vegas and saw Chumley. He ain't as dumb as one see on TV. The wife bought an Emerald ring from him.

It's interesting to see what some of those things are and what they're worth.
