Solar Eclipes
Well folks, I am sitting here looking out my office window watching the Sun slowly fade away. We have a light cloud cover so it won't be all that vlear. At least I won't need to wear those Sunglasses. Right now, about 1/4 of the Sun is shaded. We are pretty far North, so it won't be as cool and in the southern states. Did any of you watch this event. Just some more evidence that the end of the world is coming.

Same here, but I don't think we were in the good area to see it. I remember Hale Bop though, me and the grandkids would run out on the deck and bang spoons on pots and jump up and down and scream; twas fun. Not sure what the neighbors thought, but they still remember it.

At least you weren't wearing Nikes and drinking Kool-Aid. I wonder when ol Haley's Comet will return. Now that one has some history to it. It's interesting to study the history, myths, and legends of solar events and how they effected human behavior. I think the Mayans and Aztec were the coolest.

I looked it up. "Halley's comet last appeared in the inner Solar System in 1986 and will next appear in mid-2061". Wave at it for me will you. Stuff like that is interesting.
